On November 14th, we had the distinct honor of welcoming Dr. Andreas Wechsung, Chairman, and Friedhelm Simon, Treasurer, of the Hospizverein Westerwald e.V. to our site in Weroth. During an inspiring discussion, they shared insights into their daily work in voluntary hospice care and the challenges the association faces in today’s world.
Saferoad RRS GmbH greatly values this important work and supports the Hospizverein with a donation. With this contribution, we aim to help ensure that the association’s wide range of services – such as hospice and palliative care counseling, voluntary support for terminally ill individuals, and grief counseling – can continue to be offered free of charge.

The Hospizverein Westerwald offers various ways to get involved – from providing companionship and support through conversations to offering relief for family members. Training courses are available to prepare those interested for this meaningful role.
