Social Engagement - Saferoad Holland

We are socially involved in various areas

Fonds Slachtofferhulp

Since 2016, Saferoad Holland has a partnership with theFonds Slachtofferhulp.

The Fonds Slachtofferhulp has been committed to victims in the Netherlands for over 30 years as an independent, social organization with the goal that all victims receive the right help after a traumatic experience. So that they can lead a life that is not dominated by victimhood. Based on their own resilience and with the right help.

Every year, 1.7 million Dutch people fall victim to a crime, accident or disaster. Not everyone receives the help they need to get their life back on track. That is why the Victim Support Fund exists. The Fund helps victims regain their strength. How? By standing up for their rights, developing a new range of help and by providing practical help.

The fund has been successfully active in many areas for years and there are several programs, each with its own theme. Saferoad Holland has chosen to connect with the Traffic Accident Program.

Dutch roads safe? Every year, more than 430,000 people are involved in a traffic accident. Of these, around 130,000 people end up in the emergency room. And an average of 600 people die as a result of a traffic accident.
